Manage your blood glucose

If you take 1 to 2 tablespoons of vinegar diluted in water at the start of your meal, it lowers the amount of glucose (sugar) entering your blood stream.  According to Dr. Carol Johnston of Arizona State University, it is believed that the acetic acid in vinegar blocks enzymes, preventing the sugar from entering the blood stream. This same effect is not seen with vinegar pills.
