Coral-Eating Starfish

Stories on BBC online and Yahoo News highlighted the use of vinegar to kill coral-eating starfish, which are damaging the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.  The articles note that vinegar has a 100% kill rate when injected into the starfish.  The BBC article notes that the method requires further testing, and research needs to ensure that vinegar does not harm other sea life.
